Internal linking plugin features: automatic linking, with control where you need it.
These are the internal linking plugin features in rootlinkd. Free turns your keywords into links to your own pages automatically. Paid plans add control over where links appear, where they point and how they look.
engine oil/guides/engine-oil/Set a rule once. rootlinkd applies it everywhere it matches.
As a WordPress internal linking plugin, rootlinkd works from rules. Each rule pairs a keyword or phrase with a destination, so rootlinkd can auto link keywords across WordPress as each page is displayed. You don't edit posts one by one.
Add a keyword
Choose the word or phrase to match. Matching is whole-word and not case-sensitive, so "oil" won't match inside "boil".
Choose a destination
Point the rule at one of your own pages. Paid plans also allow external and affiliate destinations.
Let it run
The rule applies to matching content across your site, including posts you publish later.

rootlinkd features FAQ
Will rootlinkd add links inside existing links or code?
No. rootlinkd skips text that is already a link, and never touches scripts, styles, code blocks or form fields.
Does rootlinkd work with Elementor?
Yes. rootlinkd works with Gutenberg, the Classic Editor and Elementor. Paid plans also skip Elementor tab, accordion and toggle titles.
Is there a limit on rules in the Free plan?
No. Free includes unlimited internal-link rules.
Do my rules carry over when I upgrade?
Yes. Free and paid plans use the same saved rules, so nothing needs to be re-entered.
What happens to my rules if my paid licence ends?
Your rules stay saved. rootlinkd returns to Free behaviour: internal rules keep working, while external and affiliate rules and paid settings stop applying until a licence is active again.
